Funding for pilot projects to Danish life science SMEs

The 1st call for FASILIS voucher applications closed Friday May 21st. We are happy to confirm receiving a large number of high-quality, inspiring applications. Our review of these applications shows that about half of the available funding budget will be used for these projects, meaning that we have enough remaining budget for a second call for Voucher applications. This 2nd call will be aimed at SMEs that have not submitted an application so far.

The FASILIS project offers life sciences SMEs a voucher worth € 6.000,-- to carry out a small innovation project with leading life sciences facilities in the main European life science clusters in North-West Europe. If you were not able to submit a voucher application for the first call, the 2nd call will give you a new opportunity to set up a small voucher-funded project.

If your SME still needs to identify a suitable facility in one of the FASILIS regions to work together with, we offer an additional matchmaking service for this 2nd call: to use this service, we encourage you to submit a project idea by 21 June, mentioning the topic and the kind of facility/service your company is seeking, to your FASILIS Regional Contact Point (David Featherston, david@biopeople.dk).

The 2nd call for voucher applications opened Thursday 27 May and will close Wednesday 30 June 2010, 24:00h (midnight) Central European Time.
